好多時新遊戲機係推出初期，首發遊戲數量都唔會太多，所以 Sony 在發佈會入面推出咗 「PlayStation Plus Collection」服務，透過呢一個服務，用戶將可以下載 PS4 既熱門遊戲帶到 PS5，補足首發遊戲不足既問題。係 11 月 12 日 PS5 推出當日就可以將大約 18 款 PS4 熱門遊戲遊下載到新的 PS5 上。
